A few examples of tools she shares:
- Write down 3 positive things that are true RIGHT NOW. This helps bring you back to the present and gives you the benefits of a positive mindset.
- Write down 3 wins from the past 24 hours. This can be as simple as showering and getting dressed. Recognizing wins is important to resilience.
- Name your emotions using Plutchik’s Wheel of Emotions. Once you name it you can develop next steps to move on instead of getting stuck.
