All Weather Family Activities
Kids need 60 minutes of physical activity every day! Both youth and adults can spread out their physical activity by engaging in short bouts of movement throughout the day. To help you get started, here are some simple, inexpensive, all-weather activities that the whole family can enjoy together!

The Alliance for a Healthier Generation believes every child deserves a healthy future. For more than a decade, Healthier Generation has been empowering kids to develop lifelong healthy habits by ensuring the environments that surround them provide and promote good health.
Our work in the community has been an integral part of our achievements to date, and we are building on our efforts to help schools and youth-serving organizations through our evidence-based programs, the Healthy Schools Program and Healthy Out-of-School Time Initiative.
These programs guide and support youth-serving organization staff and school leaders, educators, and staff to create and sustain healthier places for kids to learn, grow, and play. Specifically, we provide technical assistance, tools, and training to support policy and practice change.
