About The Hub

The Hub is a platform that connects health and education stakeholders across Colorado with a broad array of resources—peers, organizations, programs, professional development, toolkits, templates, research, and more. We look for solutions that align tools, resources, and messages to support the shared vision that Colorado youth are healthy and reach their full potential.

The Hub is launching in phases, beginning in fall 2018, with a group of test users. Our vision is to engage users as we evaluate the functionality and effectiveness of The Hub and release new features. Plans already underway include:

  • Public and Private Groups: A gathering point for individuals and teams with shared interests that includes online discussions, shared reading lists, searchability, and notifications.
  • Geographic Filtering: The ability to search for region-specific content.
  • New Content: The Hub will begin accepting and reviewing submissions in the near future. Watch for regular updates, featuring high-quality resources in an ever-changing education and health landscape.

Healthy Schools Successful Students

This unique online community is made possible by Healthy School Successful Students (HSSS)–a collective of state-wide organizations, agencies, and higher education institutions focused on health and education. It is the goal of HSSS that by 2025, all Colorado K-12 public schools provide an environment and culture that integrates health and wellness equitably for students and staff.

Colorado Education Initiative

The Hub is managed by the Colorado Education Initiative. Send inquiries for additional information to susan@healthyschoolshub.org.
